So, you have decided to move to Jeffersonville and are desperately seeking information on living and renting in this little city on the Ohio River. Well, you've landed on the right page to find that info. We've got all the tips and tricks you could need to become a happy Jeffersonvillian, so sit back and enjoy.
Living in a riverside city is always great, but when you've got the Louisville skyline on the other side of that river, it's even better. You can sit back, enjoy the view, and occasionally hear the music bouncing over the river, all while keeping the bustle of big city life an arms-length away. In a recently revitalized and historic downtown, you can find some very inexpensive apartments (around $400), as well as streets lined with quaint shops, eateries, and watering holes. The Oak Hill neighborhood also has some historic buildings, many of which house some very nice apartments. Of course, there are plenty of other affordable types of property rentals in town as well. A rental home can cost anywhere from $500 for an adorable little one-bedroom country house to $900 for a nice, big two-story house. So, no matter where you look, you are sure to find a home that fits your needs and your budget.
Apartment life can be good for both locals and newbies because of all the convenient amenities. Things like security, laundry facilities, and 24-hour maintenance can take a lot of stress out of life. And, those who don't care to spend their hard-earned money on workout equipment, swimming pools, and fancy new computers can still get access to all these luxuries by renting at a number of the apartment complexes in town.
Pet-lovers rejoice! Jeffersonville has pet-friendly rentals all over town. There are even a couple of apartments that cater to pets, with "pet stations" located around the grounds for your convenience. Rental homes can be very dog-friendly as well. It's always nice to be able to open the door and let the dog run rather than to have them drag you down three flights of stairs on a leash.
Now, it's time to scroll through those listings and find you new home. Best of luck!
